Joy School Halloween Party

It was a fun week for Joy School. We did all the fun Halloween crafts earlier in the week and then had a party on Thursday, Halloween Eve. These "flying ghosties" (suckers wrapped with a white napkin) were one of our crafts we made and put them up for decorations.

We had 4 extra friends for our big par-tay.

Preston dressed up as a surfer dude and Ashlynn was his hula dancer. Lizzie donned her Chinese Girl costume we found in San Francisco's China Town earlier this year.

We started the fun with musical chairs/cake walk. The kids won a cupcake that they frosted and decorated themselves.

They got a special spider web ice cream sundae to go with their cupcakes.

We played Plinko and got a nice grab bag full of candy to take home.

Our craft was a TP roll covered in fabric with a paper stem and pipe cleaner vine - a pumpkin!

Our treat bags were stuffed with all their spoils from the party. These witch's broomstick bags were quick, easy to put together and so cute!

All of these decorations, crafts and ideas I got off the internet. I was totally proud that I didn't go out and buy anything extra for this party. It was a FREE party. Sort of. Everything we used I already had in the house! Did anyone else do fun Halloween crafts this year?
