Bad News

Our upstairs TV broke last week. (We bought that thing just after we got married - 10 YEARS AGO - with all the gift cards we got for our wedding. When it's your time to go, it's your time to go...) That means we are down to ONE TV in our entire house! We are feeling incredibly TV deprived. The kids keep hogging all the TV time - imagine that. How many TV's do you have in your house?

Uh oh, you'll definitely be having withdrawls...we've got 5, but only two are hooked up to a satellite. Sierra and Brendan both have one in their rooms for movies, one in the FR, one in the Game Room, and one that the WII & PS2 are hooked up to. The kids have been taking over the family room one though, and everytime I go to watch anything I have to cancel something because they are recording two shows so I can't watch live tv. But let's be real - 99% of what I watch is recorded anyways...

2. yep 2 tv's for 2 people. sometimes we don't agree on what to watch but we usually do. i feel for you. a few weeks ago jeremy and i babysat for a family of 5 over a weekend and there was only 1 tv working. hard!

We have one. If we had any more, we'd need a bigger apartment. LoL.

We've got 3, but 1 is a 12-inch and only for plug in video games. Most of what we watch is recorded TV, but it's SO nice to have one upstairs for some options. Maybe if you're a good girl Santa will bring you one?

We have 2 and no cable (we canceled it last month)...so really not very many choices...so we really only use the one...but we've lived with my sister who has 3 kids and they are old enough to be watching shows...and I am so glad we have the 2nd for when that time arrives...because I KNOW I will want a break from kiddie land! :) I think it's a fun challenge to see what the family does with no tv every once in a while...it gives us a little perspective as to how much tv we really watched, ya know?

3 TVs...All hooked up to DishNetwork. We had 4, but I took one TV to work so that I could have one in my office. As you probably figure, the life of an elementary principal is so boring that I have to watch my soaps during the day!!!

Sad to say we have 4 and they are all hooked up to satelite- That's just horrible to admit!!!

I hate to be a one upper, but I think that we win this competition. One t.v and we only get 1 channel, nbc. Part of the appeal of visiting Fresno, besides seeing family, is watching t.v. and getting to flip the channels. It's a beautiful feeling.

Um, we have four. All serve a very particular purpose. when the t.v. in my room died, I went through serious withdrawals too...luckily it resurrected itself. Maybe yours will too!

2 TV's ... one in the playroom, one in the Fam room. But we had comcast come the other day and they hooked up basic cable to our bedroom (some telemarketing thing that gave us basic cable with our internet service for free), but we don't have a TV in there. Why do that? you ask... maybe some day we will get a TV. I won't count on it anytime soon!

That's a funny question in our home. We actually have 4, the funny thing is that we don't have cable or satellite or anything. We have bunny ears on our tv in our room, so you can get some stations in fuzzy except univision which comes in clear as a bell. So, we have 4 tv's that you can watch dvd's on.
