Goodtimes at T-ball

Tball season is upon us. The dad's get to be the coaches. Trevor and Logan really love it. When playing, no matter the position, it is difficult to get Trevor or Logan to not field the ball. When they step up to the plate everyone steps back. They are our mighty sluggers.

Saturday Afternoon at Blackbeards

Our cousins, Ross and Karla Butcher came into town this weekend from Montana. We were hoping to spend the Saturday afternoon at the lake, but the weather would not cooperate so we went to Blackbeards Family Fun park. This was the first time that I had been to Blackbeards since high school. The rides were nothing fantastic, but the kids had fun until it started to really rain sending us home. Jackson was not a fan of the little roller coaster, he freaked out everytime it was running.

The Munchkin Turns One

Jackson turned one year old on Monday 4/9. While he was not real interested in his presents, that will come with time, he did love to eat his birthday brownie. Jackson loves brownies as you can see. We call Jackson our munchkin baby because he currently weighs in the 10th perentile in his weight for babies his age and the 25th percentile for his height. Jennifer is trying to fatten him up by copying the eating habits of his father.

Easter Eggstravaganza!

Easter Sunday festivities at the Ward home began with egg decoration on Saturday night. Trevor, Logan and Lizzie enjoyed dunking their eggs in every possible color turning each a very interesting color. The kids woke up Sunday morning and found their easter baskets on the kitchen table. We then rushed to get the kids bathed and dressed for easter pictures and off to church. Jennifer and I were shocked that we were only five minutes late to church. After our own family easter egg hunt inside our home, all of the cousins joined together to do our annual egg hunt with the Ward family. We then had a special Easter Sunday family home evening and enjoyed dinner with the wards and dessert with the Duran's. Jennifer and I are both very grateful that there is no school tomorrow, we are ready for a vacation from our vacation.

A Great Lake Day

Yesterday the dads took the boat out to the lake for the first run of the year. The weather was warm and the water was cool, very cool. The kids enjoyed a short boat ride and then played on the beach for a bit. Millerton is still very low, were hoping that changes in the next couple of months to allow us to have a great summer. We were all surprised how many boats were out on the lake considering the early date.

Our Student of the Month

Trevor received the student of the month award for the month of March. This was Trev's first Student of the Month award so we were all real proud. To make it even better, Trevor received a free one topping pizza to Me-N-Eds. Trevor was more excited about that then the actual Student of the Month certificate.
